One Year & 29,000+ Churros Later
Celebrating 1 Year at Cambridge Services! 🥳 🎉
Time flies when you’re frying hot, golden churros!
Cast your minds back to October 2025. We officially opened the doors to our Don Churro counter at Cambridge Services, sitting right alongside our sister brand, El Mex. Our mission was simple: bring authentic, freshly made, crispy Spanish churros and rich dipping sauces to travellers, locals, and road-trippers in need of a proper sweet treat.
Fast forward 12 months, and what a year it has been!
The Big Crunch: By the Numbers 📊
To mark our 1st birthday, we decided to dig into the numbers and see just how much sweet dough we’ve served up over the last year.
We knew you loved your churros, but the final count completely blew us away…
29,264 individual churros freshly fried and devoured!
4,902 boxes handed across the counter.
13,912 Classic 8-piece portions enjoyed on road trips.
Hundreds of rich chocolate, dulce de leche, and caramel dips scraped clean!
Whether you popped in for a quick 5-piece pick-me-up on your commute, shared a 10-churro box with the family, or grabbed a portion to follow up a loaded El Mex burrito, thank you for making our Cambridge Services store such a bustling hub of sweet cravings.
What Makes Our Cambridge Pitstop Special? 🚗✨
If you’ve visited us at Cambridge Services, you already know the vibe. There is nothing quite like taking a break from a long drive, stretching your legs, and grabbing a piping-hot box of golden churros dusted in cinnamon sugar.
And the best part? Having El Mex right next door means you never have to choose between savory and sweet. It’s become the ultimate service station pairing: a slow-cooked, seasoned burrito followed immediately by warm, crispy churros dunked in hot chocolate sauce.
Here’s to Year Two! 🥂
To every single person who stopped by, grabbed a box, left us a review, or tagged us on Instagram over the past year—thank you. You’ve made our first year at Cambridge Services better than we ever could have imagined.
We’re just getting started! We’ve got plenty of exciting things lined up for year two, including seasonal menu updates, new dipping flavours, and even more store locations rolling out across the UK.
Passing by Cambridge Services today? Pop in, say happy birthday to the team, and treat yourself to a fresh batch. You’ve earned it!
